This October, The Mills is redefining Halloween with “Tales of the Crawlers”, taking visitors on a surreal nature and ecology journey. From 10 October to 1 November 2026, The Mills will transform into a “Curious Carnival”. In collaboration with the Hong Kong Insect Education and Science Center (HKIEC), the free-entry Curious Creatures Showcase will exhibit rare arthropods, reptiles, amphibians, and unique mammals—including species making their public debut.

Step into the extraordinary this Halloween at The Mills. The showcase gathers rare arthropods, reptiles, and special mammals, including the African pygmy mouse (lighter than a HK$5 coin), the laid-back White’s tree frog, and the UV-glowing Emperor scorpion. Discover these surreal creatures and more hidden wonders up close!
