The history of “Big Light” and its traditional alley wonton noodles date back to the 1960s. His wonton noodles attracted food critics and celebrities alike, before eventually becoming the first traditional alley style wonton noodles. Soon after, “New Big Light” opened as a store but ultimately closed down due to expensive rent. In November 2013, “New Big Light” finally reappeared in Hung Hom and traditional alley wonton noodles have been there ever since.
